This App is fake.

I downloaded app on iPhone .switch for preview is to low under bottom bar had to load on iPad which you can barely see it Please move switch up

Absolutely junk!! Keeps flickering and crashing, may be from OS8

I have both the 3+ and the best model they make and I find it extremely fun and entertaining...It"s made for mostly fast action, extreme sports however I use it for everything basically...I often have both running simultaniously, I dont work my familys very well off so if Im not racing cars or skiing in Squaw Valley Lake Tahoe Kirkwood bowl, then I simply chill around my pool at home in D.D.O, Qc, Canada! I needed to find an GoPro Hero 3 app that was more simpler and offered the ability to turn off the "preview" sound on start up. I found this app and it works fine as long as you stay on the main tab or settings. But once you click on the "Preview" tab, thats when bad things happen. What strange is that it says its "Starting Preview…" even though the toggle nob is in the "off" position. Shouldnt you "Start preview" after I move the toggle button to the on position? Thats needs to be updated. Also, the stability of the "preview" is worse than the GoPro App. What I mean is the "preview" tab gets stuck in a loop forces you to force quit the app and reopen it. If you manage to view a preview it will skip and judder in a loop until it finally locks up. Be aware that I did not get this app for the preview feature. In fact, I was looking for an app that: 1) Worked with Hero 3 (check) 2) Didnt have a preview feature on the main page (check) 3) Had the ability to turn off sound reception on the preview mode so I can avoid the "feedback" problem (Not offered; neither does the GoPro App either) 4) Bigger buttons on the main tab so I can press them easier than the tiny buttons on the GoPro App (check) All in all, Im fine with the purchase. I just hope updates are offered. Ill keep using it until GoPro updates theirs better than the main tab of this one. Oh, and I also noticed that sometimes the "fps" settings didnt work. I had to change the 720p to 1080p, and then back to 720p before I was able to get the 60fps to switch to 30fps. What I think is happening is that it really is changing the frames per second, but its not registering on screen until you change the video resolution. Bug?

Great idea but I spent 1.99 for nothing. Wish I could get it back. It turns the power on/off and will start to record/stop video...thats it. It recognizes my gopro as a 2 and not a 3 which is what it is. The preview, which was the reason I bought this, toggles between off/on all by it self. Very disappointed.

Worst app ever!!! Freezes at set up, freezes at preview, horrible lag at preview mode. I mean who has time to for that when one is into the moment? Wish I saw the official gopro app, which is free. Go to gopro website to download their free app!!!

biggest wast of money. I cant be leave that this App is not pulled off of the App store. I just wish I could get my money back, its just the principle of it not the amount.

Perhaps GoPro should take a little blame here too. By far this camera is the biggest piece of garbage Ive EVER purchased. Truth be told....this app may be ok, the HERO 3 Black is NOT! What a joke. The app would be awesome if it actually worked AT ALL. This apps got more bugs than a low income apartment building in July. Feel like I need to take my phone to Vex-con, & Billy the exterminator for help. Someone seriously dropped the ball here, & there really is little excuse for it considering the fact that theyre charging money for it. Horrible lag, constant loss of Wi-Fi connection, switches on/off on its own, preview is barely mediocre on its best day, Etc. I honestly have nothing good to say at all, as of yet. Well see what the creators come up with in the future. Only one update this far in over a week, Ha! I wont be holding my breath. :-( Latest update:::: (Option to change to the Wi-Fi RC) Seems like the very least of things needing attention here, But.....thats one good thing, hopefully it works.

It wont connect to my camera, just keeps looping. Wasted my money! Please address this biogas app!

It doesnt connect even though I tried all instructions. NOT impressed yet, at least it was only $2.08 wasted! It should be easier to sync up and use. Not even able to open to see if on line tech support is available. Guys, make it more user (you know, the guys with the money and reviews) friendly or money back. ( which seems not to be an option. :-(

I have been waiting for a little over an hour for the device to connect. Deleting this app right now and going a different route thank goodness it was only 2.00 I woulda dropped more

Works great with iPhone 5. No connection problems with Hero3 black. Much easier up control camera and change most common settings with app than with camera menu (especially when camera is already mounted. Watching live video feed is an unexpected bonus for aiming camera and watching live feed via cameras wifi.

Works better than i thought. After reading some reviews I was hesitant to get it but being it was so much less than the go pro remote I gave it a try. U have to research the gopro wifi password online but after that its great.

Will not pair up with phone...I phone 5 Zero stars....tired of apps that dont work....please give money back Most go pro stuff does not work like advertised....dont buy go pro ...dont want to give 1star but have to to submit review

The app is generally ok however, it always gives error when downloading big video >500MB.
