4 stars for some feature, 2 stars for others...

I needed to find an GoPro Hero 3 app that was more simpler and offered the ability to turn off the "preview" sound on start up. I found this app and it works fine as long as you stay on the main tab or settings. But once you click on the "Preview" tab, thats when bad things happen. What strange is that it says its "Starting Preview…" even though the toggle nob is in the "off" position. Shouldnt you "Start preview" after I move the toggle button to the on position? Thats needs to be updated. Also, the stability of the "preview" is worse than the GoPro App. What I mean is the "preview" tab gets stuck in a loop forces you to force quit the app and reopen it. If you manage to view a preview it will skip and judder in a loop until it finally locks up.

Be aware that I did not get this app for the preview feature. In fact, I was looking for an app that:

1) Worked with Hero 3 (check)
2) Didnt have a preview feature on the main page (check)
3) Had the ability to turn off sound reception on the preview mode so I can avoid the "feedback" problem (Not offered; neither does the GoPro App either)
4) Bigger buttons on the main tab so I can press them easier than the tiny buttons on the GoPro App (check)

All in all, Im fine with the purchase. I just hope updates are offered. Ill keep using it until GoPro updates theirs better than the main tab of this one.

Oh, and I also noticed that sometimes the "fps" settings didnt work. I had to change the 720p to 1080p, and then back to 720p before I was able to get the 60fps to switch to 30fps. What I think is happening is that it really is changing the frames per second, but its not registering on screen until you change the video resolution. Bug?
